Tomo Izakaya @ Boat Quay

If you ever love Japanese food like i do, you'll know what to expect. Fresh salmons, excellent sushi rolls, smooth Udons, crispy tempuras...so much variety with so little room.

Here i want to intro this lil devilish place called "Tom Izakaya @ Boat Quay".
I'm not sure if this is a popular spot in boat quay because since its full house in EVERY god forsaken restaurant in boat quay...including this house of satan (bear with me....). so i reckon its plausible that everyone in town who hasn't get their Friday reservations in, ends up munching their PIECES OF SHI.....shishamos...
In case no one knows where i'm talking about, "Tom Izakaya @ Boat Quay" at well....boat quay... just outside Liang Court. If you need to know where this Lucifier den is, email me and i'll give you a guided tour.

Where do i begin...theres so much to rant about...

First of all, signalling for orders is mission impossible. I signalled the first time for them to take my orders, they nodded, went back to serve others, i signalled again, they nodded again, served others again, i signalled the third time, they nodded again, we back to serve others again. Thanks to my incredible signalling skills, i actually helped 5 tables to get their orders done. :)

Second, Food was really off the mark. We order some bacon teppanyaki, soba, california maki, udon, soft shell crab & chicken karaAge and 2 bowls of rice. The udon is tasteless, bacon is extremely salty, california maki collasped when you use your chopstick to grab it, soft shell crab and the chicken karaAge is anything but crispy and the 2 bowls of rice taste like...well...like thai fragance rice.

To top the evening off...as if things aren't really bad enough. The 2 bowls of thai fragrance rice ACTUALLY cost us 3 bucks a bowl. WTF!! The rice better give me cancer free guarantee till the end of the year!

To conclude, i would recommend a "stay clear" of this place. I would say this is an insult to Japanese food lovers.
